New album remixes traditional Colombian music

Colombian Vocal Chill is a new CD that remixes 11 traditional Colombian songs, for a mix you can sit back and relax to.

As a tribute to cumbia music, the CD selection features some of the best music of the Atlantic and Pacific as part of the series “Colombia Chill,” “E-Colombia,” and “Colombia Chill Out.”

With remixes by Fabian Quiroga and the voice of Edna Velandia, this remix collaboration “is the union of style and charm of our country.”

“Listening to it is like a journey through the colors, landscapes, flavors, and scenes of Colombia,” according to the masterminds behind the album.

“La Cumbia Cienaguera,” “La Casa en el Aire,” “Yo me Llamo Cumbia,” “Ojos Indios,” “La Pollera Colora,” “Aguacero de Mayo,” “Caracoles de Colores,” “Colombia Tierra Querida,” “La Hamaca Grande,” “Prende la Vela,” and “Volamos,” are the songs featured on the record.
