Murcia proposes new solution to recover DMG money

Jailed DMG director David Murcia sent a letter to Colombian President
Álvaro Uribe Wednesday with a proposal to release him so he can help
recover the money that people lost when his suspected money laundering scheme
was shut down.

Murcia wants to give the hundreds of thousands of Colombians that lost their savings to receive the shares of a newly formed company.

The plan is similar to an earlier proposal Murcia sent to the Government and again he requests a conversation with the President. “My plan is not complicated. However, I would like to meet personally to discuss it and work out details if you are interested, as part of the DMG family.”

According to Murcia, everybody wants this solution and hopes Uribe will respect the will of the people.

Finally he asks to be released, so he can lead the new enterprice.
