Miss Cauca elected Miss Colombia

Miss Colombia 2008-2009

Michelle Rouillard Estrada (Cauca)

First runner up
Lina Marcela Mosquera Ochoa (Chocó)

Second runner up
Verónica Velásquez Gómez (Antioquia)

Third runner up
Sonia Janneth Cubides Silva (Bogotá)

Fourth runner up
María Jimena Escobar Fuenmayor (Cundinamarca)

Miss Cauca Michelle Rouillard Estrada was elected Miss Colombia 2008-2009 Monday. The 21-year old beauty from Popayán beat first runner up Miss Chocó Lina Marcela Mosquera.

Colombia’s most beautiful woman was handed the crown by Taliana Vargas who became second in this year’s Miss Universe. Vargas, after having represented Colombia for over a year, will now go back to her study and was offered a job by North American millionaire Donald Trump.

The new Miss Colombia will have to give up her International Business studies in Montreal, Canada and prepare herself for the 2009 Miss Universe beauty pageant.
