Mine collapse kills worker in central Colombia

At least one person has died in a mine collapse in San Jose, a town in central Colombia, reported newspaper El Espectador Friday.

It is not yet known if more people were inside the mine when part of it collapses on Thursday afternoon.

One person was recovered but died on the way to hospital.

Members of the Colombian Geological Survey were sent to the accident site trying to determine the status of the mine and if more people are inside.
