A massive 2,200-square-meter aquarium will be open to the public in Medellín’s Parque Explora this Friday. Visitors will be able to see 256 species of fish in an amazon-like environment.
The sweet water fish are those that populate the rivers Magdalena, Amazon and Orinoco.
The aquarium is the biggest in Colombia and has roughly 600,000 liters of water.
Parque Explora is Medellín scientific theme park and located beside the municipal Botanic Garden.
