Colombia’s central city of Medellin will host La Francachela – a gastronomic and cultural event held in a beautiful, natural surrounding – over the fathers’ day weekend.

The three-day event will take place in the city’s botanical gardens, where chefs from Cali, Barranquilla, Bogota and Medellin will offer visitors samples of their best cuisine.

A well as the top quality food on offer, adults will also be able to sample wines and spirits from an exclusive menu.

Each day will also have a different program of cultural events, including live music performances and other forms of cultural entertainment.

La Francachela will be open to visitors between June 11 and June 13, with events starting at 12 PM.

Tickets cost COP12,000. To find out more, click here.
