Medellin Christmas celebration: Myths and Legends Parade

by Taran Volckhausen December 6, 2013

Christmas celebrations in Medellin continue on Sunday as the much anticipated Myths and Legends Parade returns for another year of “fantasy-filled” festivity.

The event will kick off at 7PM., starting at Parque San Antonio passing through Junin and the Playa before ending at Teatro Pablo Tobon Uribe.

Event organizers say the parade will “give life to Antioquia‘s [mythical] beliefs.”

While the parade concludes Medellin’s Festival of Lights, for those in the city now’s the time to put on the party hats, because Christmas December celebrations will only get rowdier from here.
