McCain again stresses importance free trade pact

John McCain, U.S. presidential candidate for the Republican Party,
again stressed the importance of obtaining a U.S.-Colombia free trade
agreement.

McCain, in an interview with Caracol Radio, said the United States should continue to support Colombian President Álvaro Uribe and the free trade agreement between the U.S. and Colombia. “We should be supporting the free trade agreement. Senator Obama refuses to back the treaty, but I support it. They are good for the economy and for democracy,” the Arizona senator said.
