Mancuso and ‘Jorge 40′ still want to talk to Colombian justice

According to the newspaper, the lawyers of the two paramilitary chiefs are seeking contact with U.S. authorities to formalize their decisionand to assure that all statements made before Colombian justice are made public.Salvatore Mancuso had earlier expressed his wish to continue with Colombia’s Justice and Peace law, despite his extradition. He denies having violated the conditions of the law.The Colombian government extradited Mancuso and his fellow AUC heads, because they say the paramilitary leaders remained criminally active and only turned over a small portion of their wealth for victim reperation.
