Man crushed by elevator

A 34 year old man from Bogotá was crushed to death by a falling elevator Thursday.

According to the report released by the Secretary of Health, the fatal incident occurred at the Portal Calle 80 Shopping Center.

The exact cause of the accident is unclear and is under investigation. A spokesperson for the shopping center said they will investigate whether a technical failure caused the tragedy.
