Lucas Arnau presents duet with Armando Manzanero

Colombian singer Lucas Arnau on Tuesday premiered his music video “Para que,” in which he is accompanied by Mexican singer, Armando Manzanero.

The bolero is from the album “Feliz,” which was released last year in Colombia and includes songs such as “Amor de primavera” and “Nos pasa por elegantes.”

The music video of Para que, directed by Juan Pablo Rios, was shot in the streets of Mexico City last November, coinciding with the celebration of the traditional Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations.

According to Arnau, “the famous Catrinas, the image of death, the most faithful representatives of death” star in the video and added that the lyrics refer to a dying love.

He also said that “the video was fun to do for several reasons. The first is that we were willing to work with natural actors in the street, to capture realism, so we decided to plunge into everyday life of Mexico City convincing ordinary people to participate in our video, so that each shot became more exciting to do.”

The music of Para que was composed by Lucas Arnau and Luis Bolivar, the lyrics are written by Arnau and the song was produced by Jose Gaviria.
