The Colombian film “Los Colores de la Montaña” (The Colors of the Mountain) will be shown on the opening night of the 51st annual Cartagena Film Festival.
The film, which is directed by Carlos Cesar Arbelaez, has also been nominated for the Official Fiction Competition.
“Los Colores de la Montaña” is a portrait of daily life in a rural Colombian town. It is narrated from the perspective of the children of the town, who will come to face the violent reality around them little by little, until the defining moment which will test their friendship.
The International Film Festival of Cartagena, the oldest film festival in Latin America, will kick off on Thursday February 24 and close March 3.
