London business delegation visits Colombia

A U.K. business delegation headed by Lord Mayor of London Nick Anstee, who heads the City of London Corporation, a position distinct from mayor of London, started an official business visit to Colombia on Thursday.

Mayor Anstee and the delegation met with President Juan Manuel Santos, Congress President Armando Benedetti, and Luis Carlos Villegas, chairman of the Colombian business association.

According to RCN Radio, the London delegation consists of businessmen and bankers looking to increase English business interests in the Andean nation.

The radio station said that Anstee expressed to meet with other business representatives in the coming days to learn about investment opportunities in Colombia.
