Santa Fe suffered a rare defeat in Saturday’s away match to Deportes Quindio but remain on top in the Liga Postobon.

Leaders Santa Fe started well at Quindio as Juan Quintero put the Bogota side ahead after 17 minutes.

But Elkin Murillo leveled the very next minute and namesake Hilton Murillo made it 2-1 with a distance strike in the tenth minute after the break.

Former Santa Fe star Leider Preciado added a third, having a strike deflected past keeper Agustin Julio by a defender in the 66th minute, 3-1. Alejandro Bernal pulled one back for 3-2 in the 88th minute.

Santa Fe remain on top, one point ahead of Deportes Tolima who beat Envigado 2-0 on Friday.

Once Caldas climbed to third place with a 2-1 win over Independiente Medellin. Diego Amaya (8th) and Jaime Castrillon (19th) gave the Manizales outfit a comfortable lead before Luis Arias made it 2-1 in the 23rd minute. The rest of the match went by without goals.

In Saturday’s remaining match, Millonarios earned a convincing 4-0 win over Real Cartagena. Yovanny Arrechea netted a hat-trick, and Rafael Robayo found the target as well.
