La Guajira enters tourism beauty pageant

La Guajira will be represented at the National Tourism Pageant in October after seven years of absence.

Giannina Yizeth Rivadeneira Ramirez, who will represent the peninsular, is experienced in modeling and has a passion for promoting tourism through social networks. The contestant told newspaper Dario del Norte that the competition “will encourage tourism in the region of La Guajira.”

The competition will be held on October 11-18 in Girardot, Cundinamarca.
