Kiss in Bogotá: Rock ‘n ‘Rain

by Adriaan Alsema April 12, 2009

Colombia news - Kiss in Bogota

Water fell from the sky like God Himself was in charge of ruining the
night of thousands of Kiss fans, but the rock music and the obvious
fireworks made up for the drenched clothes.

The band performed for more than two hours before a packed El Campín stadium where their fans, with or without makeup, were battling the liters of water that fell from the sky.

The Colombian fans, who on the band’s website massively requested the rock gods to play the songs ‘Forever’ and ‘God Gave Rock n’ Roll to You’, loudly reminded the band of their favorite songs. Despite not having practiced the song for a long time, Kiss rewarded the request with an acoustic version of ‘Forever’.

The show — as could be expected of Kiss — was said to be one of the most spectacular performances ever to have come to Bogotá.
