Junior Barranquilla win Colombia league

Atletico Junior of Barranquilla on Wednesday won Colombia’s Liga Postobon after beating La Equidad with 3-1 in the second leg of the league’s final.

The Barranquilleros were able to keep the cup in the northern Colombian port city after losing 1-0 in Bogota in the first leg.

The biggest club from the Caribbean started attacking and quickly scored two goals.

Equidad, on the losing hand, counter attacked and scored 2-1 in the 32rd minute.

Only two minutes in the second half, Barranquilla set the final score and defended the game and championship successfully.

It’s the sixth time in the history of the club they win the Colombian cup.
