Juliana Robledo elected Miss Bogota 2009

by Adriaan Alsema July 24, 2009

Juliana Robledo was voted Miss Bogota Thursday and will represent
Colombia’s capital at the Miss Colombia election in Cartagena in
November.

The 21-year old actress is the niece of Maria Helena Reyes, the first Miss Colombia from Bogota and was considered more beautiful than first runner up Daniela Ramos and second runner up Ingrid Moreno.

Throughout the ceremony, Robledo was the favorite to win the title. She won the categories for ‘best legs’, ‘best hair’ and ‘best face’.

“We did an objective selection,” designer Alfredo Barraza, member of the jury told newspaper El Tiempo. “All the girls were very beautiful, but I think the winner will surprise in Cartagena.”

The new Miss Bogota considers herself an intelligent and somewhat stubborn woman. She lived in Buenos Aires for three year, where she studied acting.

She hopes for an acting career, but later hopes to be able to devote herself to writing and directing.

The new Miss Bogota will now start preparations for Miss Colombia.
