Juanes wants concert on U.S.-Mexican border

Colombian singer Juanes is planning to organize a concert on the
border between the United States and Mexico, the singer announced
through Twitter.

The rocker already has one concert planned in Cuba as part of his series of Concerts for Peace, but plans to take his musical equipment to the border area between the Mexican Ciudad Juarez and the U.S. city El Paso in 2010.

Juanes first held a concert on the border between Venezuela and Colombia in 2008, when the two countries had tensions over alleged Venezuelan support for Colombia’s largest rebel group FARC.
