Juanes to receive humanitarian award

Colombian singer Juanes will be awarded by the OAS’ Trust for the
Americas for his work  for victims of anti-personnel mines in Colombia.

The rocker, included in the list of U.S. magazine TIME as one of the world’s hundred most influential people, will receive the prize November 20 at the Gala for the Americas.

Juanes’ Mi Sangre foundation provides assistance and rehabilitation to landmine victims in Colombia.
