Juanes to perform in Washington charity concert

Colombian signer Jaunes will perform at the “Beat Goes On IV” concert in Washington, D.C. on July 26.

Juanes’ contribution will be part the 2012 XIX International AIDS Conference, which has already drawn the input of U.S. Secretary of State Hilary, singer Elton John and actor Danny Glover. The extravaganza intends to raise funds for the “Lifebeat Foundation” and “Music Fights HIV/AIDS.”

The concert will take place at the Warner Theatre. Ticket prices range from $90 to $170, and can be purchased via “LiveNation.”

Juanes has already particpated in several political causes. In mid-July he called on Latinos living in the U.S. to vote in the upcoming presidential elections. He was also the organizer of the “Peace Without Borders” bene?t concert ?rst held on the Simon Bolivar Bridge between Colombia and Venezuela in 2008 and then in Havana, Cuba, in 2009.
