Colombian rocker Juanes promotes his new single “Regalito” from his fifth album “P.A.R.C.E,” during a Facebook Live interview.
The popular musician revealed on Monday, during Facebook Live’s first-ever Spanish-language interview, that the video for his newest hit is now ready. “Regalito,” says Juanes, is an upbeat song that mixes elements of dance, hip hop and rock music, as well as other genres.
The musician presented “Regalito” at February’s exclusive Lo Nuestro awards ceremony, which is aired by television network Univision and honors the best in Latin music.
The title of the album, “P.A.R.C.E,” comes from the colloquial Colombian term “parce,” meaning friend, and is a shout-out to Juanes’ fans, the artist says. The album cover is a composite of 5,000 photos of fans, acquired as the result of a campaign initiated by the artist via Twitter.
The musician is well-known for his extensive use of social media forums such as Facebook and Twitter, and has millions of followers on both.
