Colombian pop star Juanes plans to debut a reality series about his life, “Point of View,” on June 15.
In the 13-episode documentary project, the singer hopes to show his most loyal fans his day-to-day life and what his world looks like. The show is coming out in nearly perfect conjunction with the recent release of his “MTV Unplugged” album, which has already topped the charts at number one in 18 countries.
“During the 13 chapters I will introduce you to some of the people who have inspired me. I will bring [viewers] with me to different cities in the United States and Latin America. I will show them unforgettable moments that they are rarely able to see,” the singer explains in the trailer for the series.
The pop star is extremely grateful for his loyal fans and in return plans to share the most private aspects of his life with them, revealing his life as a husband, singer, father and friend.
“I want to share with [my fans] a little more of my life, as [they have] opened their hearts and given me that opportunity. From the city where I was born to the gates of my house– I hope they will join me to complete this incredible adventure,” he added.
Juanes’ is also encouraging fans to participate by subscribing to the channel and having them ask questions that he may answer in later episodes. The most fortunate fans will even have the opportunity to join him in a live Google Hangout.
“I also want to hear your point of view, so subscribe to this channel and leave your comments below each video. You can ask questions and share your tweets. Then tune in to see if I can answer your questions in the program. I am also going to invite some fans to join me in transmitting a Google Hangout,” he said.
“Point of View” can be seen on the YouTube channel for Latin content, “UnoDosTres.” For a preview of the series, visit the channel’s website.
