Juanes makes the top 20 music icons list

Colombian superstar Juanes has made it on to a list of the top twenty music icons of the last 50 years, alongside such illustrious names as Bob Marley, Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin.

The Antioquian heartthrob joins Gilberto Gil and Celia Cruz as one of only three Latinos on the prestigious list, which was compiled by the news network CNN in conjunction with British music magazine, Songlines.

Juanes, who recently rocked a worldwide audience for the opening of the soccer World Cup in South Africa, has won a record seventeen Latin Grammys and sold millions of albums.
