Colombian musicians Juanes, Aterciopelados and ChocQuibTown won an
award at the Los Angeles International Film Festival for the
documentary Busco Personas: The faces of Colombia’s war.
The 21-minute documentary — directed by Lagan Sebert and Sandra Sampayo — shows those people who have become victim of Colombia’s 44-year-long war. The musicians took care of the soundtrack of the film.
The film received the viewers award for best short film of 154 short films and documentaries.
The jury considered Acne, a documentary by Federico Veiroj, the best of all contestants.
