‘Irregularities in party elections’

The Colombian ombudsman denounced irregularities that occurred in political party elections this weekend.

According to complaints received by the supervising body, there were not enough observers, voters were disturbed, the registries weren’t always complete and there was a lack of ballots, newspaper El Espectador reports.

Most of the complaints were about political activists being near or at the plave of voting, a lack of inedible ink and a lack of ballots for minors.

The Conservative Party, Polo Democrático and Partido de la U were the parties that had elections last Sunday.
