Police arrested two Nariño indigenous governors who are suspected of
having ties to the FARC, authorities in the southern department
announced Wednesday.
According to the police, the two indigenous leaders and four others formed the logistic network of the guerrillas’Mariscal Sucre column.
They are suspected of having collaborated with the FARC in attacks on the road to Tumaco, a port town on the Pacific coast.
