Iberia, who currently offer daily flights between Colombia and Spain, will add three additional flights per week, starting this month. Their goal is to offer 12 weekly flights by the end of the year.

The airline explained that the decision to add more flights is due to an increased demand from businessmen and tourists to fly to and from Colombia.

Colombia is one of Iberia’s strongest markets, enjoying 28% market share of the total international traffic between Colombia and Europe, as compared to only a 20% market share between Latin America and Europe.
