Ibague hosts Folkloric Festival

The central Colombian city of Ibague will this week hold its annual Folkloric Festival – celebrating the best in traditional Colombian culture.

With the participation of folkloric societies from universities and towns all over the country, the six-day festival will showcase a wide range of Colombia’s cultural heritage.

The event will involve live music, dance and drama performances, as well as photographic and artisanal exhibitions.

Visitors will also be able to sample some of the region’s typical foods.

Ibague’s Folkloric Festival will run from June 22 to June 27 at various locations around the city.
