Colombian soccer team Atletico Huila advanced to the second round of the Copa Sudamericana following a 5-2 aggregate win over Trujillanos of Venezuela.
After a 4-1 victory in the home match, things were looking very good for Huila.
In Venezuela, Trujillanos did take an early lead as Ruben Garcia scored on three minutes, but the home team’s hope was soon destroyed as Oscar Rueda leveled five minutes later. The 1-1 score would last till the final whistle.
Huila are the third Colombian team to make it to the second round, after Santa Fe had already defeated Deportivo Lara of Venezuela while Deportes Tolima were allowed to skip the first round.
