Grupo Aval to sell up to COP750 billion of bonds

Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores S.A, Colombia’s biggest financial holding company, plans to sell as much as COP750 billion (US$376.5 million) of bonds in the domestic market tomorrow.

Grupo Aval will initially offer COP600 billion worth of the peso-denominated securities, it said in an offer published today in La Republica newspaper.

The company will offer to sell five-year debt to yield as much as 4.5 percentage points above inflation, seven-year bonds to yield as much as 5 percentage points above inflation and 10- year and 15-year securities to yield as much as 5.4 and 6.2 percentage points above inflation, respectively.

Grupo Aval is also offering to sell three-year bonds to yield as much as 1.8 percentage points above the country’s DTF interbank benchmark rate. (Bloomberg)
