Government increases funds for victim reparation

The Colombian government has raised the funds available for victim
reparation from seven to 10.2 trillion pesos (US$ 484 million) it
announced Tuesday.

According to Caracol Radio, the initial 7 trillion wouldn’t be enough to repare victims of all violence, after an earlier revolt within the coalition not only paramilitary victims, but also victims of the army would be entitled to compensation.
