Government files appeal against delay extradition ‘Macaco’

Deputy Minister of Justice, Guillermo Francisco Reyes warned that the current ruling could seriously delay all extraditions to the United States.Victims of paramilitary violence earlier asked a judge to halt the extradition, because they were afraid ‘Macaco’ would only be sentenced for the production and trafficking of drugs and would avoid repatriation following a conviction of crimes against humanity.
