Government confirms one new AH1N1 case in Cali

Colombia confirmed one new case of AH1N1 in Cali on Tuesday
night. In total seven people are confirmed to have the influenza in
Colombia.

The newest confirmed case is a man who traveled to México City and consulted a doctor for respiratory problems, a sore throat and nasal congestion on April 27. At first he tested negative to the virus.

The patient received ambulant treatment with voluntary isolation at home.

Now the man from Cali is fully recovered and is not contagious anymore.

Colombia registered 151 suspected cases, of which four are probable. Seven people are confirmed to have the flu. There have been no reports of deaths or cases which required hospitalization.
