Govenor of Alabama to hold trade meetings with Colombia

Colombia News - Govenor of Alabama

The Govenor of Alabama, Bob Riley, will meet with Colombia’s President Alvaro Uribe on Tuesday and Wednesday to hold meetings regarding business prospects.

Riley said that the State of Alabama exported more than US$ 432 million in goods and services to Colombia in 2008, reported news site Portafolio on Monday.

Trade between Alabama and Colombia consists mainly of the exchange of electrical machinery and aircraft, vehicle and industrial products and parts.
