‘Ghost bride’ appears in front of camera crew

by Jonathan Roorda February 26, 2009

A camera crew from UNE Television got more than they expected when,
while working on a documentary about a ghost bride, she actually
appeared right in front of them.

The crew was attempting to recreate the legend using an actress, when they spotted a strange appearance just behind her. The actress then refused to continue the shooting.

“When we were filming on the road, the camera illuminated a white shape and when we closed in, the shape seemed more like a bride,” said Hugo Orellano, the bus driver that accompanied the film crew.

“The camera-man asked me if I was seeing what he was seeing and I responded affirmatively. He kept on filming and when he rewinded the recording, we could see the image of the bride.”

The legend tells about a couple, that shortly after their wedding crashed and died on the road between Barranquilla and Puerto Colombia. The bride supposedly still haunts the road and whenever someone doesn’t stop for her, she will take place on the back seat.
