Germans in Colombia eager to meet people and sell them something

Hoping to meet business associates, increase their clients, find representation in Colombia and ultimately make a killer profit, 21 German businesses participated in Bogotá’s International Fair.

The aim was to “bring the countries closer and make it know that at the level of commerce, urban planning, culture, education and industry,” the director of the Colombian-German Chamber of Commerce, Katarina Steinwach, told El Universal.

She added that it is a pity that bilateral trade is not as high as expected, given its great potential.

Firms that took part included Sew Eurodrive, a manufacturer of machinery for cutting plastic and metal.
