Gay Beauty Contest in Santa Marta

One of Colombia’s least known beauty pageants is that of the ‘National
Reign of the Gay Beauty’ that started in Santa Marta Friday. The
festival also hosts a folk dance competition.

32 candidates hope to receive the title of Miss Gay National Beauty who will also become the national ambassador of the homosexuals and will participate in social projects benefiting the most vulnerable people.

The judge will choose the best costume, the best face, elegance, the most photogenic and Miss Congeniality, reported local newspaper El Informador.
