An impressive number of Colombia’s current television presenters and actresses started their careers by winning a spot as Miss Colombia in the national beauty pageant.
Each of the 12 stunning Colombian women displayed in the array of photos below began her television career as a beauty queen. Margarita Rosa De Francisco did so in 1984, as did Taliana Vargas in 2008.
Valerie Dominguez, the ex-beauty queen implicated in the country’s major agriculture sector scandal, is also found in the list of queens-turned-actresses.
