Fugitive drug lord sentenced to 11 years in prison

Colombian Prosecutor General sentenced fugitive from justice,
paramilitary drug lord ‘Cuchillo’ to 11 years in prison. He will also
have to pay a fine of around US$20,000.

Pedro Oliverio ‘Cuchillo’ Guerrero Castillo is one of Colombia’s three most wanted men and former commander of paramilitary organization the AUC. He was sentenced in absentia for the crimes of assault, aggravated theft and forced displacement committed on 26 April 2005 in the central department of Meta.

‘Cuchillo’ is still at large and authorities have offered almost US$2 million reward for information leading to his arrest.
