Four Awa indians murdered in south Colombia

Four indigenous Awa were murdered by anonymous armed attackers in Colombia’s southern department of whilst attending the wake of another tribe member who was killed previously, media reported Thursday.

The indians, members of Colombia’s protected Awa tribe, were attending the funeral of a 16 year old boy who was also murdered when a gang of men, armed and with their faces concealed by ski masks, burst onto the scene and shot four people, claimed
