Former Uribe aide not on Interpol’s fugitives list because of ‘procedural errors’

Colombia’s fugitive former Peace Commissioner has not been included in Interpol’s list of international fugitives because of procedural errors.

Authorities asked Interpol on Tuesday to order an international arrest warrant for Luis Carlos Restrepo, but because of procedural errors the ex-official has not been added to the ‘red circle’ list, reported Caracol Radio Wednesday.

“The prosecution presented us with a document soliciting the capture of the ex-Commissioner, however they were missing requirements that the Interpol of France needed,” explained general Carlos Mena Bravo, director of the Colombia’s National Police.
