Former DAS director again heard by Prosecution

The Prosecution suspects Noguera, director of DAS from 2002 until 2005, of having had ties with the paramilitary northern bloc of the Self-Defense Forces of Colombia (AUC), to have used his power to alter intelligence files on former Defense Minister Fernando Botero and to have lent governenment vehicles to the manager of Colombian pop singer Carlos Vives.Noguera already spent a year in jail, awaiting trial for his alleged links to the AUC.
