‘Ex paramilitary boss abused teenagers’

The former finance head of Colombia’s AUC paramilitaries admitted that an ex AUC boss sexually abused teenagers in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta region.

Carmen Rincon, alias ‘la Gorda’, denounced in her first statement before the prosecution, the ex-paramilitary chief Hernan Giraldo Serna, alias ‘el Patron’, for abusing young women, reported news station Radio Santa Fe on Thursday.

Rincon also admitted that parents in the region would frequently bring their underage daughters to ‘El Patron’ where he would have his way with them.

‘La Gorda’ has confessed her responsibility for the murders of six alleged delinquents and peasants and is currently on trial.

Rincon also declared that the former wife of murdered politician Jorge Genecco paid the AUC 500,000COP per month for the surveillance and protection of their home.

The evidence that ‘la Gorda’ has provided will be investigated by the prosecution for Colombia’s National Unity for Justice and Peace.
