Colombia’s Foreign Minister Jaime Bermúdez Monday started a small
European tour in Paris that will also take him to Brussels and Madrid.
The tour primarily is meant to strengthen economic and cultural ties between members of the E.U. and Colombia.
Bermúdez will meet his French counterpart Bernard Kouchner to sign a number of bilateral agreements and scheduled meetings with the mayor of Paris and a number of French lawmakers and businessmen.
After his visit to France, Bermúdez will go to Brussels on Wednesday and to Madrid on Thursday.
