Five soldiers found, one still missing in action

by Adriaan Alsema March 24, 2009

A special task force by the Armed Forces has established contact and
located five of six members of the security forces who had gone missing
Tuesday after severe fighting with the FARC that left four soldiers
dead.

One soldier is still missing in action, but the Armed Forces are positive he too will be found.

“The military is in an excellent position to fulfill the mission. The troops will continue the search efforts to locate the soldier with who no communication has been established,” Armed Forces commander General Freddy Padilla told the press.

According to Padilla, there had been communication with the four and the army knows where the lieutenant and his four men are.
