FC Porto eyes Colombians to replace Falcao

Portuguese soccer team FC Porto has its eyes on Colombian forwards Jackson Martinez and Teofilo Gutierrez to strengthen the team’s offense.

According to Colombian newspaper El Espectador, Porto’s offense was weakened after the transfer of Colombia’s Radamel Falcao to Atletico Madrid earlier this year.

Porto’s first choice reportedly is Gutierrez, who is currently playing for Argentine team Racing de Avellaneda, which asks in between $10 million and $12 million for the Colombian.

Martinez, who plays for Mexico’s Jaguares, reportedly is cheaper is may be less of a strain on the Portuguese champion’s piggy bank.
