FC Bayern Munich’s striker-hungry coach eyes Falcao

FC Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has set his eyes on purchasing Colombian striker Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid.

British media reported that Falcao was a top consideration of Bayern Munich’s new coach as he begins prowling for a new striker, and that the Colombian has been valued at $72 million.

Falcao named the sixth best soccer player in the world by the The Guardian.

Pep Guardiola recently signed on to coach German league FC Bayern Munich through 2016 after leaving FC Barcelona. He is the highest paid coach in the world and joined the German team with a luxurious budget for recruiting top talent.

FC Bayern Munich, which has historically recruited talent from within the German league, could see a change of habit under Guardiola’s tutelage, as he seeks to lure talent from outside the Bundesliga.
