‘FARC’ uniforms seized in Quito, Ecuador

Ecuadorian police in Quito detained five people Thursday and seized military uniforms, jackets and boots supposedly destined for the FARC in Colombia.

Police in Ecuador’s capital found a clandestine factory in the north of Quito after stopping a truck in which they found 600 uniforms, 600 jackets and hundreds of pairs of boots, reported Caracol Radio. The uniforms were apparently carrying FARC insignia.

“As yet, we still have not confirmed anything and we are still investigating” said the source who added that in the next few hours an official statement will be released, according to El Espectador.
