FARC set 5 vehicles ablaze on recently attacked road

FARC forces have allegedly set five vehicles ablaze on a road that was attacked yesterday, Caracol Radio reported Thursday.

The attack occurred on a road between the cities of Puerto Rico and San Vincente in the southern Caqueta department. The vehicles belonged to a seismic exploration company.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured or killed in the attack.

FARC forces are believed to be behind an attack on the same stretch of road yesterday, which targeted oil workers traveling on a bus. One was killed and six were injured in the earlier attack.

FARC’s Teofilo Forero Mobile Column has been operating in the area and engaging in clashes with the Army.
